In the General Assembly that took place in Szentendre on May 25th 2017, Budafok Recycling’s shareholders approved the business plan submitted by management for the coming year aiming at increasing the waste paper sourcing base and eventually ramping up production.
As a first step of the execution, Budafok Recycling’s management has proceeded with investing in a new multilift truck, reinforcing its fleet and allowing to collect more material from key accounts across Hungary.
With the aforementioned action, Budafok Recycling reaffirms its commitment to long-term and sustainable relationships with its sourcing partners, who are positioned at the heart of the business.
George Kriatsiotis, CEO at Budafok Recycling, commented: “Stable and measurable steps are building up the Budafok Recycling of tomorrow. Already within a years’ time since the formation of our 3-year business plan, we are well on track, having increased tonnage sourced, bailed and sold using our own resources. Strategic partners have been key in the execution of our plan, supporting our initiatives for expansion and benefiting from a win-win growth story”.
