On 30th April 2020, Budafok Recycling signed a contract for the supply of Office & Non-Carbon Required paper with Pátria Printing House.
The quantities sourced shall be collected from Pátria’s facility at Budapest’s District XI via Budafok Recycling’s trucks & press containers.
Taking advantage of the increasing demand for recovered paper in the COVID-19 era due to the rise of e-commerce, Budafok Recycling plans to further expand its sourcing reach initiating long-term co-operations with larger suppliers of waste paper deemed as key accounts including among others printing houses.
George Kriatsiotis, CEO of Budafok Recycling commented: “After a large downfall in waste paper prices due to the China ban, e-commerce among other factors is here to re-establish market tranquility and place product prices at an upward trend. Budafok Recycling remaining faithful to its values, listening promptly to customer needs, is here to swiftly capitalize upon the opportunity and well-establish itself for the upcoming increase in product demand.”
Georgios Bakos, General Manager of Zeritis Group commented: “It is with great pleasure to see our portfolio companies making swift moves to take advantage of the rising opportunities stemming from the COVID-19 period. In a changing environment, agile and flexible organizations are the ones to survive, if not exceed expectations.”
